Announcement of the election manifesto of The Change Makers’ Panel

The Change Makers’ Panel, which began its journey with the pledge of positive change in the 2022-2024 elections of the E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB), has announced its draft election manifesto. On May 31, 2022, in the presence of more than 100 e-CAB members, the draft election manifesto was officially announced at a local restaurant in the capital for the elections to be held on June 18.

The Change Makers has announced the draft manifesto to bring e-CAB to the leading stage

members, policymakers and the media. In the manifesto, the panel members have pledged to keep e-CAB members at the center of all activities, taking into account the “core strength” of the organization. At this time, while talking about the current problem, they said that there is no office suitable for e-cab members to use in that sense. It is not possible to provide the necessary services to the members from the e-cab secretariat most of the time. The participation of members in various activities of e-CAB is almost non-existent. People’s confidence in the e-commerce sector has become low due to sponsorships in various activities from many of the companies in question. The members do not get much cooperation from the e-CAB on the issue of tax VAT. If The Change Makers are elected, effective efforts will be taken to solve all of these problems.
